Sarah obtained her Bachelor's degree in Dutch Law from the University of Amsterdam, where she completed the minor in Children's Rights and Forensic Youth Care.

She subsequently completed her Master's degree in Criminal Law at the University of Amsterdam in the summer of 2025. During her studies, she completed an internship at SummerCourt, a selective programme of the Judiciary and the Public Prosecution Service.
